West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Ben Foster has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his delight at Fraser Forster winning the Premier League Player of the Month award for February.

Forster made his return after 10 months out with a cruciate knee ligament injury in mid-January and has been superb for Southampton so far.

The 27-year-old goalkeeper kept as many as three clean sheets for the Saints last month, setting a new club record of minutes without conceding a goal.

West Brom goalkeeper Foster is pleased for Forster, who has earned three caps for England.

Southampton are ninth in the Premier League table at the moment with 41 points from 29 matches.

Ronald Koeman’s side are nine points behind Manchester City, who are currently fourth in the standings and have a game in hand.

Meanwhile, West Brom currently find themselves 11th in the standings with 39 points from 29 games and appear to be in no danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
