The teenager has been excellent for Forest this season.
The Nottingham forest winger has been called up to one of Gordon Strachan's two squads to face Czech Republic and Denmark this month - with Burke set to feature against the Danes
He was clearly delighted with the call-up and expressed his joy on his official Twitter account:
Unbelievable to have been called up for Scotland senior team vs Denmark at the end of the month. So happy!— Oliver Burke (@OliverBurke55) March 10, 2016
The Scottish winger has emerged on the scene this season as a real top talent and is now a regular first-team member at the club.
Burke's excellent form has even seen him being handed a new deal at Forest, keeping him at the club until 2020.
The transfer embargo at the club has meant Dougie Freedman having to give more opportunities to younger players which has helped Burke's emergence.
Burke, who is currently absent from the Forest first-team with a wrist injury, has featured in 13 games for Forest this season - scoring twice - prior to his injury problem in mid-February.
But he is expected to be fit for the Scotland tie and he will be hoping to make his international debut.
