Premier League giants Arsenal will take on Championship side Watford at the Emirates Stadium in North London on Sunday afternoon.
Owen has backed the Gunners to win the FA Cup quarter-final tie and progress to the last four of the prestigious cup competition.
“The Gunners have won 15 successive rounds of the FA Cup and they ought to make it 16 against a Watford side struggling for goals of late,” the former Newcastle United striker wrote on Betvictor.com.
“The Hornets have won all three ties 1-0 to reach the last eight but their goal in the 5th Round against Leeds (an own goal) was the last time they found the back of the net!.”
A footnote added: “Michael’s recommendation: Arsenal to win to nil at 7/4.”
Arsenal will head into the tie as favourites and will be expected to win, especially as the game is at the Emirates.
Manager Arsene Wenger is likely to field his best available lineup, and that should be stronger than the one that Watford will put out.
The Hornets, though, will fancy their chances, as they are doing well at the moment and the Gunners have not been getting positive results in recent weeks.
With Watford having come so far in the FA Cup this season, head coach Quique Sanchez Flores will want his side to go all the way in the prestigious cup competition..
