Linda Pizzuti Henry reacts on Twitter to Liverpool win over Manchester United... Klopp excites BBC pundit

The Liverpool owner's wife took to Twitter after a convincing 2-0 win over Man United.

Linda Pizzuti Henry, the wife of Liverpool owner John Henry, praised the Anfield outfit's 'decisive' first-leg victory over Manchester United in the Europa League on Thursday night.

A penalty from Daniel Sturridge and a second-half goal from Roberto Firmino made sure Jurgen Klopp's side won 2-0 against fierce rivals United on the night.

Meanwhile, BBC pundit Trevor Sinclair is impressed with the 'spirit and belief' the Liverpool head coach is instilling on Merseyside.

Liverpool fans will be waking up on Friday morning feeling incredibly satisfied. Klopp is gradually improving his squad so well that you can only imagine what the Reds could be like when he is given a full pre-season and transfer window of his own.

Manchester United's decline has played its own part, of course. United were exceptionally poor at Anfield and Louis van Gaal looks 99.9% likely to no longer be the man in charge at Old Trafford next season.

If he is, the reality will be simple: Manchester United are happy enough with their huge off-field profits and are simply no longer interest in their actual football.
