The Foxes are currently five points clear at the top of the table and look on course for an unlikely but thoroughly deserved title win, while Newcastle are fighting for their top flight survival at the opposite end of the table.
The Magpies are currently 19th in the Premier League, one point away from safety with 10 matches remaining, and Schlupp for one cannot quite believe the Magpies have struggled so much this season.
Speaking to lcfc.com, the 23-year-old said, “They’re a really good team and everyone is still baffled as to why they’re so low in the league.
“We respect them but we’ll be trying to beat them like we do in every game.”
