Chelsea lost 2-1 on the night and 4-2 on aggregate to PSG this week.
Chelsea crashed out of the Champions League this week when they lost 4-2 on aggregate to Paris Saint-Germain.
The Blues were already trailing 2-1 from the first leg when they welcomed the Ligue 1 leaders to Stamford Bridge and further goals from Adrien Rabiot and Zlatan Ibrahimovic ensured Diego Costa’s 27th-minute strike proved to be nothing more than a consolation.
Chelsea have impressed since Guus Hiddink replaced former manager Jose Mourinho. However, they are very much a team in transition so it was no great surprise to see them overcome by a PSG team that is running away with their domestic league and that possesses some of the best attacking players in world football.
Among those Chelsea players on show was 20-year-old Brazilian Kenedy, who was making only his fourteenth appearance for the club and his first start in the Champions League.
After the match we took to Twitter to see what Chelsea fans thought of the youngster’s latest performance and you can read a selection of what we found below:
We need to keep blooding players like Kenedy. Accept mistakes will be made but they have to make mistakes to learn from them #CFC— One Man Went To Mow (@blueblood2401) March 9, 2016
