Arsenal reportedly tracking Timo Horn; player says he would think about Gunners move

The young German 'keeper has been speaking about a potential move to Arsenal.

According to a recent report from German newspaper Bild, FC Koln goalkeeper Timo Horn is the subject of interest from Arsenal.

The 22-year-old has featured 133 times for the Bundesliga club to date, keeping 51 clean sheets in the process, and with a contract until the summer of 2019 there is no suggestion he will be heading off any time soon.

However, according to Bild Arsenal are keeping tabs on the player and Horn himself has been quoted as saying that he would have to consider a move to the Gunners if they showed an interest.

“Real Madrid, Arsenal, Manchester United – if such a club should request, I would think about it,” Horn is quoted as saying.

Of course Arsenal currently have Petr Cech as their number one goalkeeper and at just 33 the summer signing will hope he has many more years at the top of his game.

However, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will always be looking to the future and with Horn being 11 years Cech’s junior a move for the Germany under-21 international would not be beyond the realms of possibility in the future.
