West Ham to finish above Manchester United, predicts Sol Campbell

The Hammers are currently fifth and chasing Manchester City and Arsenal ahead of them.

West Ham United should finish above Manchester United this season at the very least this season, Sol Campbell has predicted to Sportlobster.

The Hammers have enjoyed a fine campaign under Slaven Bilic this season, with a series of impressive performances seeing them compete for a top six place.

They are currently fifth in the table with nine games of the season remaining, just a point behind Manchester City in fourth and three behind Arsenal in third.

And Campbell has predicted they can gatecrash the Champions League places, and should finish above Manchester United at the very least.

"West Ham can gatecrash the Champions League places with the way they’ve been playing and the fact teams around them have underperformed,” he told Sportlobster.

“West Ham came from behind to beat Everton at Goodison. It’s a sign of how much belief Bilic has instilled in his side.”

“I think if they keep playing the way they are they will finish above United at the very least."

West Ham potentially breaking into the top four and securing Champions League football will very much rest on the form of Dimitri Payet.

The Frenchman has been in sensational form since joining from Marseille in the summer, quickly becoming the key man in the side and arguably one of the signings of the season.

If he can maintain that form, and keep providing key moment such as the one against Everton last weekend, there’s no denying that a top four place is very much in their grasp.
