The Leeds United centre-back is undoubtedly back to his best.
Leeds United defender Sol Bamba’s return to form shows no sign of stopping after the Ivorian put in another solid performance against Cardiff City on Tuesday evening.
Steve Evans’s side ran out 2-0 winners courtesy of goals from Souleymane Doukara and Mirco Antenucci, but the shut-out at the opposite end of the field would have also pleased the Whites boss.
Bamba was at the heart of that achievement, and while the 31-year-old still divides opinion among some Leeds fans there is no doubt he played a vital role just as he did in the weekend victory against Bolton Wanderers.

On Saturday Bamba made a very impressive 22 effective clearances against the Trotters (in just 45 minutes) and on Tuesday he was at it again, making 19 such clearances to keep the Bluebirds at bay time and again.
The Leeds defender also won five interceptions, four duels and three aerial battles and he was not dispossessed all evening.
There is still work to be done at Elland Road. However it seems they are back on the right track and Evans has some choices to make with three centre-backs vying for two spots and Bamba seemingly following in the resurgent Giuseppe Bellusci’s footsteps.
