After the full-time whistle, Sinton, who now works for the club in an ambassadorial role, used social media to pay credit to the performance of the players just three days after their previous setback.
Great reaction to Saturday. Excellent performance from start to finish. Two good goals. Very good intensity and work rate #QPRvDER— Andy Sinton (@AndySintonQPR) March 8, 2016
The win ensured that QPR ended the evening in the top half of the table as they matched wins for both Wolverhampton Wanderers and Nottingham Forest, who sit just behind them in 12th and 13th-place respectively.
On Saturday, QPR play their second home fixture this week as they welcome Brentford, who have lost five of their last six outings in the second tier.
