Seyi Olofinjana reacts on Twitter to Wolverhampton Wanderers' win over Bristol City

Wolverhampton Wanderers beat Bristol City 2-1 yesterday evening.

Former Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Seyi Olofinjana has praised Connor Hunte, after the youngster was handed his senior debut yesterday evening.

Hunte came on for Wolves in the latter stages of Wolves’ match against Bristol City, and he helped them pick up the victory.

The youngster was on the pitch when Kenny Jackett’s side netted a late winner through Matt Doherty to seal the three points.

And Olofinjana was delighted that his former side were able to pick up a victory against the relegation threatened Robins.

Wolves’ win over Bristol City was their second home victory in succession, but it was very hard fought.

The Midlands side had taken the lead in the first half through Nathan Byrne, but they were pegged back when Aden Flint powered home.

Doherty rescued Jackett’s men in the last minute, though, and the win has lifted them up to 12th in the Championship table.

Wolves' next match comes against Birmingham City on Sunday, and if they are able to win that contest they could move into the top 10.
