Everton reassure fans of Bryan Ovideo's well being on Twitter.
Everton have revealed on Twitter that defender Bryan Oviedo has been admitted to hospital.
The 26-year-old was taken to hospital at 3am on Wednesday morning after complaining of chest pains and difficulties with breathing, according to the Daily Mail.
However, the problem appears to be nothing more serious than a chest infection following a tweet from the Toffees on his behalf this afternoon.

It now remains to be seen whether or not the Costa Rica international will be fit for duty this weekend.
Oviedo, who has displaced Leighton Baines as Everton's first-choice left-back since January, was set to face Chelsea in Saturday's FA Cup quarter-final at Goodison Park.
With Roberto Martinez's side sitting 12th in the Premier League and having very little to play for, defeat in the FA Cup this weekend would effectively end their season until the next campaign.
They sit 14 points clear of the relegation zone, but eight behind West Ham United in fifth with games running out.
