Tottenham are reportedly pursuing Rennes winger Ousmane Dembele.
Dembele, 18, has come up through the ranks at Rennes having joined from Evreux FC in 2010, and has established himself as one of the world's brightest teenagers.
With nine goals and three assists in 17 games for Rennes this season, Dembele has taken French football by storm, and clubs are unsurprisingly keen on luring Dembele away from the Ligue 1 club.
The Sun report that Tottenham Hotspur scouts were in attendance as Rennes beat Nantes 4-1 on Sunday, and watched the teenage wonderkid hit a stunning hat-trick to further underline his potential.
With Tottenham keen on signing the pacey, skilful wide man, Spurs could end up with three players named Dembele at White Hart Lane next season. Mauricio Pochettino already has Belgian international midfielder Mousa Dembele in his ranks, and the Daily Mail recently reported that Spurs will revive a move for Fulham striker Moussa Dembele in the summer.
Given that Spurs will be able to offer Champions League football next season, and that should be appealing to a number of potential transfer targets this summer, whilst young players will have seen what Pochettino has done with the likes of Dele Alli and Harry Kane, with Spurs offering a perfect environment for young players to develop.
It's suggested that Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Leicester, Southampton and Sunderland have all registered an interest in Rennes starlet Dembele, but Spurs certainly make a move for the winger after no doubt being impressed with his performance against Nantes.
