According to The Mirror, Southampton are plotting a move to sign Midtjylland winger Pione Sisto, amid rival interest from Everton, Leicester City and West Ham United.
The Saints could lose star forward Sadio Mane this summer, and it's claimed that Southampton are already looking for possible replacements for Mane ahead of the transfer window.
The Mirror report that Southampton have identified Midtjylland star Pione Sisto as a possible successor to Mane, having earned quite the reputation for himself in Denmark.
Sisto, 21, was born in Uganda to Southern Sudanese parents, but has emerged as one of Denmark's hottest wonderkids, having hit 16 goals in 74 games for last season's champions Midtjylland, and he already has two Denmark caps to his name.
With pace, dribbling ability and an eye for goal - as seen during the two Europa League clashes against Manchester United, where Sisto scored a goal in each leg - Sisto is unsurprisingly attracting plenty of interest, and Southampton are facing major competition for his signature.
The Daily Mail reported earlier this week that Everton, Leicester City and West Ham United are all keen on signing Sisto, who could cost as much as £12m this summer.
At just 21, Sisto has a bright future on his hands, and seemingly a potentially huge decision to make this summer, with a whole host of Premier League clubs battling to land his services at the end of the season.
Would Sisto be a good signing for Southampton?
