Report: Bayer Leverkusen could sell their star players, Tottenham Hotspur one of four interested in Karim Bellarabi

The German international has been in good form recently.

Tottenham Hotspur are believed to be one of four Premier League teams interested in German international Karim Bellarabi - according to Bild.

Reports in Germany today are suggesting that Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen may be prepared to sell some of their best players in the summer, if they do not qualify for Europe.

The likes of Hakan Calhanoglu and Bernd Leno could be moved on - as well as Bellarabi.

Bild claims that Spurs are keen on signing the player - but Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United are also keen. Italian clubs are also interested, but Bellarabi is keen on the Premier League.

Spurs of course did business with Leverkusen last summer, bringing Heung-min Son to the club, so would hope that might give them an edge in negotiations.

The attacking midfielder has been in good form for Bayer this season, scoring eight goals in 37 appearances. The 25-year-old winger would certainly fit into the Tottenham Hotspur philosophy - as he is a hard-working and technically gifted wide man - who also has an eye for a long-range strike.

Leverkusen are currently eighth in the Bundesliga and are without a league win in four Bundesliga games - which has seen them drop out of European contention.

If they do fail to make the top six this season - then expect Tottenham and co to come knocking for this German international.
