Sebastian Polter and Gabriele Angella take to Twitter after Queens Park Rangers secure a 2-0 victory over Derby County on Tuesday night.

Queens Park Rangers moved into the top half of the Championship table on Tuesday evening with a 2-0 victory over Derby County.

The Hoops headed into the fixture on the back of a 1-0 reverse to struggling MK Dons, but they produced an improved performance to get the better of the promotion hopefuls.

Tjarron Chery gave QPR a 24th-minute lead before Gabriele Angella netted his side's second of the evening by converting the ball from close range after he had been found by a free kick.

After the match, Angella was quick to take to Twitter to comment on the triumph, with his late effort representing his first goal for the club in his 15th game since being loaned out by Watford.

He also reserved special praise for defensive partner Clint Hill, who returned to the starting lineup for the first time in two months.

Angella's sentiments were echoed by Sebastian Polter, who also completed the 90 minutes at Loftus Road.

QPR are next in action when they host Brentford on Saturday, before the following week, they face a trip to Preston North End, who currently sit just two points ahead of the Londoners in the Championship table.
