Derby County fans have been less than impressed by Darren Wassall’s start to life as first team manager at the iPro Stadium.
Wassall has taken over at the Rams after Paul Clement was sacked last month, but his initial impact has not been particularly impressive.
Wassall has lost three of his first six matches in charge, and Derby were outplayed by Queens Park Rangers last night.
QPR won 2-0 at Loftus Road, and the Rams’ performance in the fixture was very poor.
Derby never got going in the match, and they were made to pay by their hosts.
Goals from Tjaronn Chery and Gabriele Angella gave QPR a deserved three points, and Derby’s performance in the contest has aggravated their supporters.
Although the Rams still remain the play off spaces, their form is not particularly encouraging, and many Derby fans are now concerned about the direction that the team are heading in, while Wassall remains in charge.
Surely every DCFC fan has to see we were better sticking with Clement than giving the job to Wassall. I don't blame Wassall one bit!!!— Dean Garratt (@Deanogarratt) March 9, 2016
The official line that everyone's together & all buying into project wassall is deluded! Need a strong character to sort this team out #dcfc— Steve Hazlewood (@Stevieh5) March 9, 2016
I cant stand Wassall. Performances have been crap. Stop saying your pleased. We win lucky atm #dcfc— Richard Webb (@richardwebb13) March 9, 2016
Keep seeing the season is gone?? Surely you can't be for real we are well in play offs? But one thing that should be gone is Wassall #dcfc— Stefano (@stefdcfc89) March 9, 2016
If Wassall is still in situ on 19 Mar, surely that's a perfect opportunity for 30k #dcfc fans to loudly voice discontent to the owner?— Ian Redfern (@redfern_ian) March 8, 2016
Wassall so out of his depth he may as well be in the Atlantic. We'll get an absolute shoeing in the playoffs (if we make them). #dcfc— Chris Parsons (@ChrisParsons274) March 8, 2016
