Wolves scored a late winner against Bristol City last night with Matt Doherty grabbing the all important winning goal.
Doherty's goal came deep into injury time, heading home a free-kick from loanee Jeremy Helan.
Former Wolves striker Benik Afobe took to Twitter to praise his former teammate, expressing his delight to see him stepping up.
Afobe, 23, was sold to Bournemouth in January but evidently still keeps an eye on his former club and is keen for them to do well.
Doherty, 24, has made 28 appearances in all competitions for Wolves this season, with this goal his second of the season.
He was impressive defensively on the night, winning three tackles and three interceptions, while he also provided the assist for Nathan Byrne scoring Wolves' first goal.
The result put Wolves into 12th place in the Championship table, with Bristol City stuck in 20th place, narrowly above the relegation zone, with their position looking increasingly precarious.
