The Irish international hit a rasping effort whilst messing about in training today.
West Ham United have had to battle with striker problems this season. The club have had the likes of Enner Valencia, Andy Carroll and Diafra Sakho all out injured at some point this campaign - although they have handled their situation well whenever confronted with the issue.
But by the looks of this incredible video posted on their official Twitter account their substitute goalkeeper might have been able to do the job.
Darren Randolph was snapped up from Birmingham City to play back-up to Adrian between the sticks - and has been an excellent deputy when called upon.
However, it looks like he could have done a job up top with a strike like this:

As you can hear it had 17-year-old defensive talent Reece Oxford in disbelief.
He did have a slight helping hand, as the ball was raised off the ground on a training cone, but it was still a magnificent effort from the Republic of Ireland international.
Randolph, who arrived from St Andrews on a free transfer in the summer, has played 10 times for the Hammers this season. The form of Adrian means he remains second-choice but it looks like he may be first-choice for Ireland at the European Championships this summer.
If he gets a chance to shoot from 40 yards out, then duck!
