The young midfielder is happy to be part of a team where young talent is given a chance.
He only signed his previous extension in July but has impressed Mauricio Pochettino enough this season to earn himself a new deal - which lasts until 2020.
The talented midfielder is just one of several young stars coming through the ranks from the Tottenham academy and his long-term future being secure will be a boost for Pochettino - who has a big vision for his high-flying Spurs.
The player himself has also been speaking about the new deal and is obviously thankful for all the trust Pochettino has placed in him.
He told the official Tottenham website:
"I'm delighted. As a young player it's everything you want. You want to be around top players and a top club that's pushing for the best honours.
"It's a fantastic club to be involved with especially at such a young age.
"The manager trusts young players and I'm grateful for the chance he's given me."
The Argentine manager has shown a lot of faith in young players - with the likes of Josh Onomah and Tom Carroll also getting plenty of football this season.
Winks has featured in two games for the Spurs first-team this season - both in the Europa League - against FK Qarabag and Fiorentina.
He will now hope to feature in the title run-in after committing his future to Spurs - again.
