Everton and Crystal Palace are interested in 19-year-old defender Issa Diop, France Football reports.
The Premier League duo have been keeping an eye on the teenage centre-back this season, having seen him break into, and establish himself, in the first-team since November.
He made his league debut on November 28, and has since started every single Ligue 1 game from that date, playing in the centre of Toulouse’s defence.
He has long been considered a talent, and has been capped at every level of youth football for France from Under-16 to Under-18. He is also currently part of the Under-19 squad, and is expected to step up to a more senior level before too long given his impressive form in Ligue 1.
His performances have brought interest from various clubs, with the Eagles and Everton scouting him ahead of the summer transfer window.
They clearly believe Diop would be a good signing to make this summer, although Toulouse will not want to sell their prize asset.
He has a contract until the summer of 2018, meaning they are not being pushed to sell, and Everton and Palace may have to pay over the odds to bring the teenage talent to the Premier League.
