Forget Giroud, Joel Campbell was the man for Arsenal v Hull, tweets former Arsenal youth-teamer Jack Jebb

The Costa Rican was brilliant for Arsenal tonight.

Arsenal have comfortably dispatched of Hull City in the FA Cup this evening, with a brace apiece from Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott doing the trick.

But one player who pulled the strings throughout the game was Costa Rican attacker Joel Campbell.

He was in sensational form throughout the fixture to continue his brilliant season for the club, which has seen him become a real fan favourite at the club.

In fact, on Twitter, one former Arsenal youth team player and a big Gunner himself was singing the praises of Campbell.

Jack Jebb, who first signed a professional contract with the club in September 2013, has also played for England under-17s and was dubbed the 'new Jack Wilshere' early in his emergence.

The talent soon suffered serious injuries and his form dropped. He was released last summer and is currently on the books at Stevenage.

He sent this tweet earlier this evening to highlight his feelings toward Campbell's performance:

The Costa Rican was superb in the 4-0 win and has been great this season.

Arsenal fans will hope he can continue to put in top performances for the next few weeks, as the Gunners chase silverware on three fronts.
