The Hammers’ recent results have put them in contention of clinching a Champions League place.
The London outfit are fifth in the Premier League table at the moment with 49 points from 29 matches.
Slaven Bilic’s side are just a point behind Manchester City, who are currently fourth in the standings and have a game in hand.
West Ham co-chairman Gold has suggested that pushing for a Champions League place is now a reality.
“We are entitled to dream (about the Champions League),” Gold wrote on West Ham’s official website. “Now it is looking more of a possibility.
“We are playing superbly well and we are knocking on the door. We were facing two difficult games against Tottenham and Everton and to get six points makes it more of a dream.
“It is hard to believe that we have achieved the three victories but we have and everyone is so excited. The fans are absolutely over the moon.”
At the start of the season, West Ham would have been happy with a top-10 or a top-eight finish, but now the London outfit could clinch a Champions League place.
The Hammers have done well this season, and manager Bilic has done a remarkable job in getting his players play to the best of their abilities.
