Nigerian youngster Alex Iwobi was handed a chance to impress for Arsenal against Hull City and grasped his opportunity.
Picked in a rotated Arsenal side which saw Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil left on the bench, Iwobi shone in midfield, always looking to move the ball and go on the attack.
Last season Iwobi was with the under-21 side but he has made good progress since impressing in pre-season, and last night's match at the KC Stadium was arguably his finest performance so far.
It was only the second time he has completed 90 minutes, and he was a big contributor in a performance which sends Arsenal in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup where they will take on Watford at The Emirates at the weekend.
A big win was much needed for the Gunners, and to do so without some of their key players is ideal as it gives them a rest and also allowed fringe players like Iwobi to state a case for more regular action.
Mohamed Elneny, Calum Chambers and Joel Campbell joined Iwobi into stepping into the side and all looked good as the club recorded a 4-0 win, with Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott each scoring a brace.
Here is a look at how fans reacted to Iwobi's display...
