Report: Huddersfield can sign Rajiv van La Parra from Wolves for this price

Huddersfield Town are set to sign Rajiv van la Parra from Wolverhampton Wanderers on loan.

According to a report in the Daily Mail, Huddersfield Town will be able to sign Rajiv van la Parra on a permanent deal from Wolverhampton Wanderers for £750,000 in the summer.

Huddersfield are reportedly set to sign van La Parra on loan until the end of the season, and there will be an option to make the move a permanent one.

Van La Parra did seem to have a brief resurgence at Molinuex after being sent out on loan to Brighton & Hove Albion earlier in the season.

However, the Dutch winger has fallen out of favour again at the Midlands club after a controversial social media post earlier in the year.

Van La Parra seemed to boast about his wages on Instagram (Express and Star), and he was booed by Wolves supporters when he played against Brentford back in February.

That was the 24-year-old’s last appearance for Wolves, with Kenny Jackett quick to take the attacker out of the firing line.

If van La Parra does complete a move to Huddersfield, as expected, he will join David Wagner’s side as they look to climb up the Championship table.

The Terriers are currently in 18th place in the second tier table but they have a seven-point cushion over the relegation zone.
