Predicted Leeds United line-up to play Cardiff: Three changes from Evans

Here is how we predict Leeds United will line up against Cardiff City this week:

To be played on Tuesday 8th March 2016 at 19:45. Venue: Cardiff City Stadium, Cardiff

Odds: Cardiff 4/5, Draw 23/10, Leeds 31/10

Leeds United travel to Wales this week to take on Cardiff City in their latest Championship clash.

The Whites will be lifted by their 2-1 victory against Bolton Wanderers on Saturday while the Bluebirds defeated Bristol City 2-0 away to make it two wins on the bounce since their 3-1 defeat to Middlesbrough last month.

That win means Cardiff are currently seventh in the Championship table, outside the play-off places only on goal-difference.

In contrast Leeds are 16th with 41 points from 34 matches, and while they have little left to play for this season Steve Evans’ side will want to finish on a high.

Leeds right-back Lewie Coyle is unavailable for this match after suffering an ankle injury against Bolton, while back-up goalkeeper Ross Turnbull’s season is now over as he undergoes a small operation.

Chris Wood could make the bench after his return to Leeds training this week and Liam Cooper will travel, although it remains to be seen if he will overcome the injury that saw him replaced at half-time on Saturday.
