Michael Ball wants these two Liverpool and Everton players punished

Liverpool won against Crystal Palace, while Everton lost to West Ham United in the Premier League at the weekend.

Michael Ball has claimed on social networking site Twitter that both Liverpool striker Christian Benteke and Everton winger Kevin Mirallas should be published.

Both Benteke and Mirallas were involved in controversial incidents at the weekend.

The Liverpool striker earned a controversial penalty in injury time in the Premier League game against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Sunday afternoon.

Everton winger Mirallas was sent off in the 34th minute for two bookable offences in the league encounter against West Ham United at Goodison Park.

One yellow card was for simulation and another for a late challenge on Aaron Cresswell, as the Toffees lost the game 3-2.

Former Everton defender Ball has stated on Twitter that both Benteke and Mirallas should be punished.

Liverpool are seventh in the Premier League table at the moment with 44 points from 28 matches, six points behind fourth-placed Manchester City, who have a game in hand.

Meanwhile, Everton currently find themselves 12th in the standings with 38 points from 28 games.
