Liverpool came from a goal down to beat Crystal Palace 2-1 on Sunday.

Liverpool made it three wins in a row and four games unbeaten with a 2-1 win away at struggling Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon.

The Reds had beaten Manchester City 3-0 in midweek, but fell behind at Selhurst Park as Joe Ledley put Palace in front, and James Milner saw red for two bookings just past the hour mark to leave Liverpool in big trouble.

However, Roberto Firmino equalised for Liverpool following a terrible error from Palace goalkeeper Alex McCarthy just ten minutes later, and a highly-contested penalty from Christian Benteke handed Liverpool all three points in injury time.

The win takes Liverpool just three points behind rivals Manchester United in the Premier League table, and six points off the Champions League places after some decent form under Jurgen Klopp of late.

After the final whistle sounded at Selhurst Park, Liverpool players took to Twitter to give their reactions to the victory, as goalkeeper Simon Mignolet not only celebrated the win, but also his 28th birthday.

Defender Dejan Lovren reflected on a great performance from his team-mates, before sending an encouraging message to striker Christian Benteke, telling the Belgian international that the Liverpool squad believe in the much-criticised forward.

Mamadou Sakho and Alberto Moreno both celebrated the win, as did injured defender Joe Gomez, whilst striker Divock Origi reacted after an 'important win' in London.
