West Ham prospect impressed with Arsenal player in North London derby

West Ham United youngster Idris Kanu says that he likes Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny.

West Ham United prospect Idris Kanu has expressed his admiration of Arsenal defensive midfielder Mohamed Elneny on social networking site Twitter.

Kanu was following the North London derby between Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal at White Hart Lane on Saturday afternoon.

The youngster, who is predominately an Under-18 player for the Hammers and plays as a striker, stated on Twitter that he likes Elneny.

Elneny started the North London derby at White Hart Lane and played for 75 minutes, as the game finished in a 2-2 draw.

During his time on the pitch, the 23-year-old defensive midfielder had a pass accuracy of 80%, made two interceptions, four clearances and one block.

The Egypt international will now look to cement his place in the Arsenal starting lineup, and establish himself as an important player for the Gunners between now and the end of the season.

As for Kanu, he will be looking to continue to develop his game and hope to get a call-up to the West Ham first team in the coming years.
