West Ham beat Everton 3-2 yesterday.
West Ham United pulled off one of the comebacks of the season yesterday to turn over Everton at Goodison Park.
They won the game 3-2 after initially going 2-0 down to goals from Romelu Lukaku and Aaron Lennon - despite the home side having Kevin Mirallas idiotically sent off in the early stages of the game.
But Lukaku had a penalty saved by Adrian and from then on West Ham led a fantastic fightback.
Michail Antonio scored his third goal in as many games to start the fight. His header was then followed up by a nod in from substitute Diafra Sakho for 2-2.
The winning goal, well who else?
Dimitri Payet has been West Ham's star player this season. He was injured in this fixture earlier in the season and this week it was reported that Everton wanted him in the summer. So he would have loved scoring the last minute winner.
He alluded to that fact with this tweet after the game...
Captain Mark Noble was also in terrific form. He continues to earn a England talk and based on his recent performances rightly so. He tweeted:
It's an honour to lead these players, another massive win, Never give up!!! #MN16— MARK NOBLE (@Noble16Mark) March 5, 2016
Plenty of other West Ham players, such as Andy Carroll, Adrian and Manuel Lanzini also took to tTwitter after the game to celebrate a tremendous Hammers comeback.
What a win, thank you fans— Diafra Sakho (@iamdiafrasakho) March 5, 2016
