Leicester City face competition from the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City.
The race for the Premier League title took another twist at the weekend as Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal played out a 2-2 draw, handing Leicester the chance to pull five points clear.
Claudio Ranieri’s side duly obliged, beating Watford 1-0 at Vicarage Road, and with only nine games remaining Redknapp feels the Foxes will now go on to claim an historic title win.
“Leicester are virtually guaranteed Champions League football next season, a stunning achievement in itself, and I cannot see them slipping up for the league,” Redknapp explained.
“It will take a massive collapse for them now but looking at their fixtures, and the games for the teams around them, they will win the league.”
Leicester are five points clear of Tottenham, eight points clear of the Gunners and 10 ahead of Manchester City with only nine games remaining - 10 for City who have played a game less.
Considering Leicester picked up 23 points from a possible 27 in the corresponding fixtures against their next nine opponents, it is understandable why they have now become outright favourites.
The job Ranieri has done at the King Power Stadium is nothing short of marvellous, and the way Leicester go about their business is both admirable and intelligent for a team in such a lofty position.
Leicester winning the Premier League title in a league full of rich owners and outlandish spending would undoubtedly go down as one of the greatest footballing achievements in recent history.
