Sebastian Polter reacts on Twitter to QPR loss, sends message to fans

The Queens Park Rangers forward has apologised - but he's been doing that an awful lot lately...

Sebastian Polter has taken to Twitter with a 'big' sorry to QPR's away supporters after Saturday afternoon's 2-0 loss at MK Dons.

The R's had beaten Birmingham City last time out in the Championship but put on another sorry display in Milton Keynes as they lost by two clear goals and fell short of putting up a fight in the second half.

As such, Polter has apologised to fans on social media, emphasising the importance of QPR's next two games. In the immediate future, the R's host Derby County at Loftus Road on Tuesday night and a result - but more importantly a good performance - will be craved by supporters all too used to witnessing inconsistency.

Derby, too, have been inconsistent recently, losing to Wolves last weekend and beating Huddersfield this time around.

Both teams appear much stronger at home than they are on the road right now - which bodes well for QPR if only due to the fact they'll meet in west London.
