The Saints failed to return to winning ways in the Premier League, as they played out a 1-1 draw with Sunderland at home.
Jermain Defoe put the Black Cats ahead in the 85th minute after Southampton’s Jose Fonte was sent off. Virgil van Dijk equalised for the home team in the third minute of injury time.
Koeman has taken to Twitter to have his say on the final result.
Following the 0-1 we did great, considering we were 10 against 11. Prior to this, not at our level. pic.twitter.com/FZOv2Fs3ea— Ronald Koeman (@RonaldKoeman) March 5, 2016
