Rangers, Hibernian and Aberdeen are reportedly interested in Hamilton Academical goalkeeper Michael McGovern.

Hibernian have a long-term interest in Hamilton Academical goalkeeper Michael McGovern, according to The Scottish Sun.

A number of English clubs are also reported to be interested in the 31-year-old, who will become a free agent at the end of the season.

The Scottish Sun has also claimed that Scottish Championship side Rangers and Scottish Premiership outfit Aberdeen are both keen on the Northern Ireland international.

McGovern is a good goalkeeper and has been on the books of Scottish Premiership side Hamilton since 2014.

It seems that the 31-year-old would have a host of offers at the end of the season. Hibernian could miss out, though, especially if they fail to get promoted to the Scottish Premiership at the end of the 2015-16 campaign.

Alan Stubbs’s side are unlikely to win the Scottish Championship title this season, which means that they will have to negotiate the tricky playoffs.

Rangers are at the top of the Scottish Championship table at the moment with 69 points from 27 matches.
