Mark Noble says West Ham now know just how good they are

West Ham United have shone this season and their players know it.

West Ham United midfielder Mark Noble has been speaking to the Daily Mail after his side came from behind to defeat Everton 3-2 this weekend.

The Toffees looked on course for a much needed victory as they led 2-0 with just 12 minutes of normal-time remaining. However, the Hammers had other ideas and goals from Michail Antonio, Diafra Sakho and a last-minute strike from Dimitri Payet gave Slaven Bilic’s side the win.

It was another example of just how far West Ham have come under the Croatian’s management and there is no doubt they possess some of the most impressive players in England right now.

That is something Noble himself appears to have acknowledged in comments that should come as a warning to those sides preparing to face the Hammers in what remains of the season.

“We know we are a good team, we have proved it over the last eight or nine months, but that was a little bit special,” Noble told the Mail.

The fact that West Ham’s players know just how good they are is only going to breed more confidence both for the rest of this season and for the campaigns yet to come.

The best teams are not arrogant by acknowledging their talent; but that confidence leads to success and West Ham could be on the verge of greatness after too long out of the limelight…
