The former Tottenham boss has been reflecting on the north London derby.
Tottenham Hotspur drew 2-2 with their fierce rivals at White Hart Lane, with the majority of the side producing a passionate display.
However, Hoddle has singled out three players who could have done better.
He told the Mail: "It wasn’t the best afternoon for Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen and Erik Lamela. This was an opportunity to put some real pressure on Leicester before the evening kick-off against Watford and to remove Arsenal from the title race. And it was an opportunity missed."
Generally, it appears fans agree with Hoddle on two of the three.
Eriksen has been questioned for shying away during Spurs' big moment, while Alli was also criticised - although the 19-year-old looked short of fitness and most are confident he will bounce straight back.
On Lamela, supporters seemed more positive. Mauricio Pochettino's decision to take the Argentine off for Ryan Mason was criticised, with a more attacking alternative preferred.
Yes, Lamela was on edge and had already been booked - but it seems Tottenham fans are appreciative of the hard work he put in against the Gunners.
