Here is how Crystal Palace and Liverpool will line up this weekend:
Crystal Palace welcome Liverpool to Selhurst Park this afternoon for their latest Premier League clash.
The Eagles are currently 15th in the table with 33 points from 28 matches and while they are nine points clear of the relegation zone they will know the importance of getting a few more points on the board sooner rather than later.
In contrast Liverpool are ninth with 41 points to date, and while they will not have given up hope of qualifying for Europe via the league they will know a few sides above them will have to slip up for that to happen.
Palace have a fine recent record against today’s opponents, scoring 11 goals in their last four league encounters.
With three consecutive wins and only one defeat in their last six meetings with the Reds, Palace will be quietly confident of adding to that this afternoon.
However, Liverpool will be buzzing after their impressive victory against Manchester City in the week and will want to build on that great performance.
