Celtic have not been doing well in the Scottish Premiership this season.

Chris Sutton has named two Celtic players in The Daily Record who are having a good season.

The former Celtic striker believes that other Leigh Griffiths and Kieran Tierney, none of the players in the current Bhoys squad are doing well at the moment.

“The players are toiling badly and I see absolutely nothing to suggest an upturn in fortunes,” Sutton wrote in The Daily Record.

“Bar Leigh Griffiths and Kieran Tierney, there isn't another Celtic player who could put their hand on their heart and say they have had a good season. They look lost, struggling for confidence and direction.”

Griffiths has been the best player for Celtic so far this season and is arguably the best striker in the Scottish Premiership at the moment.

The former Scotland international has been banging in the goals for fun and seems to have taken his game to a whole new level.

Tierney is 18 years of age and plays as a left-back, and he is doing quite well at the moment.

The teenage defender has featured in the Europa League and in the Scottish Premiership this season, and it seems that it is only a matter of time before he becomes a first-team regular.

Celtic are at the top of the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 63 points from 28 matches, just four points clear of second-placed Aberdeen.
