Walker outlines what is unbelievable about Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur have mounted a challenge for the Premier League title this season.

Kyle Walker has told the Hampstead and Highgate Newspaper that the sprit in Tottenham Hotspur’s dressing room is ‘unbelievable’.

Walker has been at White Hart Lane since 2009, but he has never seen the group so together as they are now.

The right-back says that all of Tottenham’s players are united on and off the field.

“The dressing room is unbelievable,” Walker told the Hampstead and Highgate Newspaper. “It’s not just here at the training ground, it’s probably the first time we’re going out for food together and we’re doing things outside of football together - even something so silly as Call Of Duty on the Playstation.

“We’ve got a group app, about 14 of us. We’re all playing on there, talking on the mics. You can hear all the missuses going mad, but it’s good banter and it keeps us together. Little things like that are making a lot of difference.

“We’re just a bunch of lads who gel together. Put 10 people in a room and they might not gel, but it’s just coincidence that we get along so well.”

Tottenham’s spirit has been highlighted throughout the season so far, with the side’s never-say-die attitude shining through.

Spurs have fought to the end in matches, and they have come from behind to claim more points than any other club in the top tier.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side’s battling qualities have been a major reason behind their good form, which has seen them mount a challenge for the title.

Spurs are only three points behind Leicester City, who currently lead the way in the top flight.

Tottenham’s team spirit will need to be on display again tomorrow, as they take on Arsenal in one of the most pressurised North London Derby matches of all time.
