The Italian scored a delightful curling effort.
It has been a tough week for Leeds United. They were defeated by Brighton 4-0 at the start of the week and that caused plenty of uproar - especially after Steve Evans didn't speak to the press after the game.
His position was seemingly in jeopardy and then came the publishing of their financial results - which didn't make great reading.
Today's game against Bolton Wanderers saw vociferous protests prior to the game, with a coffin and hearse present to signify the death of the club under the guidance of Massimo Cellino.
But on the pitch it was a great day at the office.
Leeds picked up all three points with a 2-1 triumph over Bolton at Elland Road.
The game saw a return to goalscoring form for Italian forward Mirco Antenucci. He scored both goals in the win, and his second was trademark Antenucci.
His attempted assist came back to him just inside the box and he nailed a delightfully curling effort beyond former Leeds keeper Paul Rachubka in the Trotters goal.
Channel 5 published the goal on their official Twitter account as a teaser to their goal show later this evening:
The Italian is out of contract in the summer and expected to leave the club. Based on this evidence, maybe he can press for a new deal.
