Leeds United won against Bolton Wanderers in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.

Leeds United head coach Steve Evans has revealed on the club’s official website the situation inside the dressing room.

The Whites returned to winning ways in the Championship on Saturday afternoon with 2-1 victory over Bolton Wanderers at home.

The performances of the Leeds players at Elland Road were much better than their display against Brighton & Hove Albion on Monday evening.

Evans has praised his players for their battling qualities and has shared the spirit they have in the dressing room.

“We have got a fantastic spirit within the dressing room, from the players to the staff to the head of the football club,” the Leeds head coach told the club’s official website. “The battling and the effort got us the points today more than perhaps the quality of the play.”

Former Leeds defender Ian Harte was following the match, and he was pleased with the final result.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon, hosts Leeds had 54% of the possession, took 13 shots of which four were on target, and earned 12 corners.

Visitors Bolton had 46% of the possession, took 15 shots of which three were on target, and earned nine corners.

Leeds are 16th in the Championship table at the moment with 41 points from 34 matches, nine points above the relegation zone.
