Parlour reacts on Twitter to Arsenal draw, pundit impressed with Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal played out a 2-2 draw in the Premier League on Saturday.

Ray Parlour has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Arsenal’s draw with Tottenham Hotspur in the North London derby.

Arsenal played out a 2-2 draw with Tottenham away from home at White Hart Lane in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

The Gunners took the lead in the 39th minute through Aaron Ramsey, but conceded twice in quick succession after Francis Coquelin was sent off for a second bookable offence in the 55th minute.

Toby Alderweireld equalised for Spurs on the hour mark, and Harry Kane scored a sensational goal just two minutes later.

Alexis Sanchez found the net in the 76th minute to salvage a point for Arsene Wenger’s side.

Former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour was following the match, and he was pleased with the final result.

Trevor Sinclair, who played for Queens Park Rangers and West Ham United among other clubs and now works as a BBC pundit, suggested on Twitter that fitness was the key behind Tottenham’s comeback.

Meanwhile, a number of well-known footballing figures took to Twitter to express their admiration of Kane’s strike.
