The Gunners take on Tottenham in today's early kick-off.

Arsenal take on Tottenham Hotspur this afternoon in perhaps the biggest North London derby of all time.

The Gunners go into the game needing a win to remain in the title race, after a poor run of form. They have lost their past two Premier League games and defeat to local rivals Spurs would deal them a massive blow in the fight for the Premier League title.

Of course Arsenal have a few injury worries to contend with. Petr Cech and Laurent Koscielny will both miss the tie - as will Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

The England international is out for up to eight weeks with a knee injury but will obviously be taking a keen interest in today's fixture.

He sent this tweet this morning ahead of the game:

The Ox was not the only Arsenal crock taking to Twitter ahead of the North London derby.

Jack Wilshere has been out for a significantly longer period of time than Oxlade-Chamberlain and will be gutted to miss such a crunch derby tie.

He tweeted:

Meanwhile Carl Jenkinson, who has been on loan at West Ham United for the past two seasons, also tweeted on the game. He is currently back at Arsenal receiving treatment for a serious knee injury:

All three will be hoping for a reason to be cheerful this afternoon, if their Arsenal pals can grab a crucial win against Spurs.
