The West Ham co-owner took to social media after a 3-2 win over Everton.

West Ham United co-owner and chairman David Gold says manager Slaven Bilic has rewarded his players with a day off from training on Sunday.

Indeed, the Croat clearly feels his players deserve some time off for their brilliant display at Goodison Park.

West Ham trailed Everton by two goals and even conceded a penalty that could have made it three. By full-time, however, Bilic's men had left Merseyside with a 3-2 win:

It looks like another nice touch from the Hammers' ice-cool manager.

Next up for West Ham in the Premier League is a trip to Chelsea - but, before that, the east London side travel to Old Trafford for their FA Cup quarter-final clash with Manchester United.

Unfortunately for West Ham, Man United are back in form. But it's not like the Irons themselves aren't playing well.

Everton threw everything they had at Bilic's men and were in complete control at 2-0 up. Yet still West Ham left Goodison Park with a 3-2 win. Anything is possible in football.
