Daniel Gabbidon criticises Everton on Twitter, Rio Ferdinand revels in West Ham win

West Ham United won against Everton in the Premier League on Saturday.

Former West Ham United defender Danny Gabbidon has criticised Everton on social networking site Twitter.

Everton suffered a 3-2 defeat to West Ham at home in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

The Toffees were 2-0 up at one stage, but the Hammers staged a late comeback and picked up all three points.

Kevin Mirallas was dismissed for a second yellow card before the half-time interval for Everton.

Gabbidon has suggested on Twitter that Roberto Martinez’s side thew away the game, while former West Ham defender Rio Ferdinand has revelled in the final result.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Goodison Park, hosts Everton had 41% of the possession, took 15 shots of which eight were on target, and earned nine corners.

Visitors West Ham had 59% of the possession, took 17 shots of which only five were on target, and earned six corners.

West Ham are fifth in the Premier League table at the moment with 49 points from 29 matches.

Slaven Bilic’s side are just a point behind Manchester City, who are currently fourth in the standings and have a game in hand.
