Manchester City meet Aston Villa this afternoon in what looks to be a one-sided clash at the Etihad Stadium.
City have been in poor form of late and were thrashed 3-0 by Liverpool in midweek, as Manuel Pellegrini attempts to keep the club's season on track.
Now level on points with Manchester United and just one point behind West Ham, City need to make sure that they qualify for the Champions League, and they will be expecting to beat Aston Villa today.
City surprisingly line up with two centre forwards today, as Sergio Aguero and Wilfried Bony both start, with Raheem Sterling dropped to the bench.
David Silva and Jesus Navas start out wide, whilst Fernandinho and Yaya Toure once again partner each other in central midfield.
Sterling joins the likes of Eliaquim Mangala, Aleksandar Kolarov and Kelechi Iheanacho on the bench, as City look for a morale boosting win today.
Villa's 3-1 midweek defeat at the hands of Everton means that they remain eight points adrift of safety from relegation.
After just three wins in the Premier League this season, Villa appear doomed and are hurtling towards the drop.
Manager Remi Garde has again gone with a 3-5-2 system today, as former Manchester City defenders Joleon Lescott and Micah Richards start, whilst Alan Hutton and Aly Cissokho will play as wing backs.
Midfielder Jordan Veretout starts along with Ashley Westwood and Idrissa Gueye, whilst Gabriel Agbonlahor and Jordan Ayew are up front with another former City man, Scott Sinclair, on the bench this afternoon.
