The Toffees will take on West Ham at Goodison Park in the Premier League in a few hours’ time.
The former Everton striker believes that Roberto Martinez’s side will pick up all three points from the encounter courtesy of a 2-0 victory.
“Whatever Roberto Martinez says Everton’s performances have not been good enough – winning nine of 27 games with only four home victories shows he needs to get his act together,” Gray wrote on Sport360.com.
“He needs to be around sixth or seventh when the season finishes and if they’re not he is in trouble. That’s why I think they will win this. 2-0.”
Well-known sports presenter Richard Keys, though, believes that West Ham will win the encounter 2-1.
“It is turning into a very good season for West Ham and Everton still look a bit flimsy to me,” Keys wrote on Sport360.com. “1-2.”
Playing at home will give Everton an advantage, and the Toffees will fancy their chances of picking up all three points.
West Ham are in good form at the moment, though, and the win against Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday evening is certainly going to increase their confidence.
The Hammers have a chance of finishing in the top four of the Premier League this season, and Slaven Bilic’s side will be determined to win at Goodison Park.
Everton are 11th in the Premier League table at the moment, while West Ham are currently sixth in the standings.
One things’s for sure. The match at Goodison Park will be hugely exciting and there will be goals.
