Leeds United head coach Steve Evans has told The Yorkshire Post that Massimo Cellino is entitled to his opinion because he owns the club.
The Italian entrepreneur also claimed that the Leeds head coach should concentrate more on getting results on the pitch than on off-pitch issues.
Evans has suggested that he respects Cellino’s comments, and has made it clear that he knows that the club chairman is entitled to give his opinion.
“Mr Cellino owns this club, he’s entitled to have an opinion every day,” Evans told The Yorkshire Post. “You dissect it and if you think there’s a point in there then you have to learn from that. I certainly think that was the case.”
Cellino is a passionate man and often speaks his mind in public, and it seems that Evans understands that.
It is also great of the Leeds head coach to understand that Cellino does have a right to offer his opinion.
After all, the Italian is in charge of the West Yorkshire outfit and is Evans’s boss.
However, for all parties concerned and especially for the fans, it would be best if the Leeds players start performing on the pitch and put together a run of positive results soon.
