Former Newcastle man Ben Arfa is wanted by Liverpool.
The playmaker has been enjoying an exceptional season with Nice in Ligue 1, having returned to his playing career after a year of struggle.
The former Newcastle star signed for Hull City on loan at the start of last season, but he managed just eight appearances before his loan was cancelled.
By the beginning of January 2015, Ben Arfa’s Newcastle contract was ripped up, and he agreed a deal with Nice.
However, he could not start playing for the club until the start of this season due to FIFA rules, but Nice found out it was worth the wait.
The 28-year-old has been in exceptional form this season, scoring 11 goals and registering two assists in 24 Ligue 1 appearances, earning rave reviews for his performances.
Naturally, Ben Arfa has now been linked to a number of clubs, and the report indicates that Liverpool want to bring him back to the Premier League.
The Reds are tracking Ben Arfa, along with Internazionale, Milan and Borussia Dortmund, whilst PSG are also referenced as an interested party.
There are no references as to any bids having been made for Ben Arfa, but Liverpool will continue to keep an eye on the attacker heading into the final stage of the season, with plans to move for him in the summer transfer window.
