Leicester are continuing to scout FC Midtjylland games.
The Foxes had scouts present at their Europa League victory over Manchester United at home in February, and another man checked on the side as they lost to FC Kobenhavn on Thursday evening.
It is clear that Leicester believe they have found a player they want to bring to the King Power Stadium in the summer, and we take a look at three stars they could be targeting.
Onuachu has already been linked with a summer move to the Premier League, and it would not be a surprise to see Leicester keeping an eye on him. A 21-year-old striker, Onuachu scored the winning goal against United, taking his tally to five in 24 games this season. Physically imposing - at over 2 metres tall - he is clearly a prospect for the future, but one who can already make an impact.
Midtjylland’s best player, 21-year-old Danish international Sisto is an exceptional talent. A winger who can play on either side, or as a number 10, Sisto has scored 23 goals in 91 games for the club, winning two caps for Denmark. He has been reportedly eyed up by some of Europe’s biggest clubs, and Leicester could move to steal him ahead of rival sides.
With Wes Morgan and Robert Huth ageing, Leicester could look to add a top class central defender this summer, with Kian Hansen a solid option. Another Danish international, Hansen, 27, only moved to the club in the summer from French side Nantes, but he has established his abilities in the defence. He would be a cheap and solid option for Claudio Ranieri to add more cover to his central defensive positions, whilst he can also fill in in defensive midfield if needed.
